Class Size – Class size is limited to a maximum of 8. A minimum of 5 participants must be registered for the class to be held.
Class Supplies – Participants will receive a folder with the class objectives, knowledge and skills inventory, key terms, menu, recipes and notes. All ingredients, tools and equipment will be provided, along with an apron to wear during class.
Class Dress – Classes are hands-on so we ask that you dress comfortably in long pants, a shirt with sleeves and flat, closed toe shoes to meet safety and sanitation guidelines.
Age Requirements – Adult Classes: Age 17 and up. Teen Classes: Ages 12-16. Kids Classes: Ages 8-11.
Class Confirmation – You will be notified that registration has been received or a class has been cancelled by e-mail or telephone. However, we do not send out reminders prior to the class!
Cancellations – We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes. Reservations for classes are non-refundable; however, if you must cancel a class, a four (4) day notice is required to receive credit toward another scheduled class. No credit will be issued after four (4) days. If you are unable to attend, you can send someone in your place, or we will mail you the class information packet.
Refunds – See cancellation policy. Gift Certificates – It’s Thyme To Cook gift certificates make wonderful gifts for family and friends. Please see the Class Calendar for prices. Gift certificates expire one year from date of purchase. Please note that recipients of gift certificates must have a PayPal account in order to redeem a certificate for a class. No refunds after 60 days from date of purchase per PayPal policy.
Registration – Registration is available online at this site. See our Class Descriptions and Class Calendar. Payment is thru Pay Pal. If you are unable to register online, you may register by telephone. Telephone registration requires payment by Money Order or Certified Check be received at least five (5) business days in advance of the class date.
Custom Classes – Classes can be designed for various special events, i.e. Birthday Parties, Home School Groups, Tea Parties, Mother/Daughter, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, and Team Building Workshops.
